Silent sound

I don't know what's wrong i don't know what's right
But every year what i fear is just this damn time
I have been through it before i would pass it too
But what brings me down is i lost you in deep down
I try everyday i try every night to fight this feeling tight
I been tired proving myself down proving my existence in town
I tried to skip it away and it followed me all dark down
I never had a way for it to stop bringing me down
Words ain't ever gonna fix anything neither its sound
But the world just ended one day just with a silent sound.

A Fatherly Memory

I didn't get that opportunity!

We often face this question when either promotion or during hike cycle. Don't we think, "why them and not me?". I was once told "If there is something out there which is meant for you, you would get it sooner or later in your life". But as we grow and start our corporate life we learn a new modified version of that statement, i.e. "If you want something go ahead and either fight for it or earn it, but don't just sit there and hope for it to fall in your lap". During one of our recent office meeting our manager came and told us, "i know most of you are frustrated and think you are not getting what you want.
