It's just a broken dream

It's always going to be a dream what i always believed
It's going to be a beautiful memory of you in me
I won't let anyone hurt you when i am around
I can give up things just like crazy when it comes to you
I walked that distance and turned around for you
I stood right there alone hoping all for you
A day came by and you just walked pass me
And all i was doing was standing there looking at you
I know i was never so special ever for you
But i always had a hope that has torn me apart
I have been broken all inside just because you left me
I have been shattered like a glass hurting me
With every pain that is killing me i still would wish good for you
Not just because its you but all for that one moment when i choose to stand by you.

A Fatherly Memory

I didn't get that opportunity!

We often face this question when either promotion or during hike cycle. Don't we think, "why them and not me?". I was once told "If there is something out there which is meant for you, you would get it sooner or later in your life". But as we grow and start our corporate life we learn a new modified version of that statement, i.e. "If you want something go ahead and either fight for it or earn it, but don't just sit there and hope for it to fall in your lap".
