A known stranger

Here are some line for once a best friend of my life
She walked in with a smile on her and that's what she impressed
She was always being bold and always being strong
She taught me those lesson which i should have learned
She warned me for those consequences i faced
Even though she never forced me anything she choose
She looked with a smile which was pleasing for me
Yeah i did fall for her at a moment but than stood by her
She just showed me the path of what could be best of me
She choose one day to teach being lonely
She left my path and walked all of her own
She showed me once more she was bolder than i have known
I learned a lot from her and still keep learning too
All that has changed is how i have been taught what i should be true
Some people told her things which were not known to me
But all i have for her is a friendship which she offered to me
Once we stood right next to each other
And now there's a time while we don't talk any longer
At the end i learned my lessons which i should
But still she remains the best person i met in too.

A Fatherly Memory

I didn't get that opportunity!

We often face this question when either promotion or during hike cycle. Don't we think, "why them and not me?". I was once told "If there is something out there which is meant for you, you would get it sooner or later in your life". But as we grow and start our corporate life we learn a new modified version of that statement, i.e. "If you want something go ahead and either fight for it or earn it, but don't just sit there and hope for it to fall in your lap".
