Its not easy today

There was a boy who lived in a small town by
And then there was a girl with dreams bigger
Boy moved by to the city for the day to day earnings
Girl moved in just to be what she dreamed to be
It was a beautiful day when he saw her first day
The time flew by and he gained courage to sigh
He walked to her one day for being a friend of her that day
While the time was moving by
With them talking all day and night
He had lost his father long ago
So he looked for that lost sole in her too
He wished for her smile everyday
Until the day she turned off on him one day
She knew his feelings for him were true
But she was among those who don't wanna hold to
He broke down and was all alone
Looking for a friend in every sole
Some made fun of him than a day
All he knew was it was meant to be that way.

A Fatherly Memory

I didn't get that opportunity!

We often face this question when either promotion or during hike cycle. Don't we think, "why them and not me?". I was once told "If there is something out there which is meant for you, you would get it sooner or later in your life". But as we grow and start our corporate life we learn a new modified version of that statement, i.e. "If you want something go ahead and either fight for it or earn it, but don't just sit there and hope for it to fall in your lap".
