Hey Dad

It's an endless Journey of time that has brought us at this point
it's been 9 years since i had your final sight
Time passed by just like a wind without you in
We stood all odds we faced those storm in those past days
everyday was a learning curve for something that you taught us those days
every fall every scar has made us bolder just like you wishes us to be
with every passing year on this day we feel the loos we had when we lost you
Those memories still do haunt us of the day you passed by
the chase to the hospital and climbing those stairs just to have a glimpse of you
I been learning all this years long and am grateful to you and mom
we learned the importance of being alone in those darkest nights
we learned to stand still when life hits us hard
i agree i was stubborn and always hard for you in past than
but with your absence i learned what life was all about
i learned to be humble and calm in the days of hardships
i learned to be a peacemaker when the time ain't right
so here i am dad thanking all to you for teaching us to be what we believe

A Fatherly Memory

I didn't get that opportunity!

We often face this question when either promotion or during hike cycle. Don't we think, "why them and not me?". I was once told "If there is something out there which is meant for you, you would get it sooner or later in your life". But as we grow and start our corporate life we learn a new modified version of that statement, i.e. "If you want something go ahead and either fight for it or earn it, but don't just sit there and hope for it to fall in your lap".
