A fallen story

It all began in a classic way with a girl and boy thing way
He saw her in a room of people one day
And he had a fall for her the moment that day
He kept it in heart he kept his feelings low
While someone walked to her and had her stole
He smiled looking at her still everyday
She just thought him to be a friend one way
They often met and talked someday
He never had guts to share his feelings anyway
A day came by and she was not there that day
He took his phone and texted her right away
The spoke to each other for a while that day
He had those feelings been popping up that day
He was scared to loose her by telling her any day
He was scared to show his feeling for her everyday
Days passed by and they happened to be close
He took some courage and told her the truth
The had a moment of silence and she smiled that day
Guy just had a cut knowing he was dumped that day
He knew things were so and never gonna be okay
So he kept being silent and just being a friendly way
Still she walks by him everyday
All he sees is her smile everyday

I didn't get that opportunity!

We often face this question when either promotion or during hike cycle. Don't we think, "why them and not me?". I was once told "If there is something out there which is meant for you, you would get it sooner or later in your life". But as we grow and start our corporate life we learn a new modified version of that statement, i.e. "If you want something go ahead and either fight for it or earn it, but don't just sit there and hope for it to fall in your lap".
