Skyhigh Dreams

Here i am again writing lines for someone once i knew
As it was a magical journey until it had an end
It did gave lot of pain it did gave me lessons to learn
So as it began for me just like a moment ago
As it had lots of ups and ups like a dream for me
Holding your hand i felt the best journey to be
Every day was like a new beginning
Time felt like was the best part of my life
But who ever thought it can come to end
So i looked at sky every night since you have gone
I looked at those picture of you and me then
I remember every moment had together true
No one ever told me this had an end too
It broke me to pieces which can be fix every too
I have no words left to say when i stand in front of you
I have nothing left to say as you took everything from me
I have nothing left to give when our paths cross someday to be
So here i am writing this for you
When you look at that perfect one for you
Just see you have all of you in it
I wish you get what you been dreaming of true
As i was not the one meant for you maybe
I dream sky high and that can't be compromised
My dreams always meant world and soul to me
I have give up my peace my life till now to be
I wish that sky to be right under my knee
As nothing's gonna stop me from chasing dreams to be
As nothing's gonna stop me from chasing that one broken part of me.

A Fatherly Memory

I didn't get that opportunity!

We often face this question when either promotion or during hike cycle. Don't we think, "why them and not me?". I was once told "If there is something out there which is meant for you, you would get it sooner or later in your life". But as we grow and start our corporate life we learn a new modified version of that statement, i.e. "If you want something go ahead and either fight for it or earn it, but don't just sit there and hope for it to fall in your lap". During one of our recent office meeting our manager came and told us, "i know most of you are frustrated and think you are not getting what you want.
