It's been a while since i have written those lines
It's been a time since i had a word with you
The way we used to sit next to each other
Those laughs we exchanged while you caressed my hair
This lines are for you an tribute to memories we had
That smile i saw while i walked for the first time
That tear in your eye when i felt the pain
I have never said you and can't even will
But i promise to stand by you in darkness and light
I promise to be there for you when you need me
I would never let you down with any act you hate
If i ever had a chance to share everything of mine
I won't say a lie but i won't share the love of you
That moment when i first held your finger
That moment while i saw you first time while i opened my eyes
I never had a guess you would be part of me
Like i have been a part of yours for so long
Years have passed and time has grew us older too
But i can still say i am same one who wants you always
I still can't be anything without you by me
I would and have always needed you by my side to be
I won't feel shy to say you are best for me
If i ever look for a partner she must be like you
If i would ever kneel down for someone it should be like you
Because you are best person i have always look true
Because mom you are an irreplaceable part of my life.

A Fatherly Memory

I didn't get that opportunity!

We often face this question when either promotion or during hike cycle. Don't we think, "why them and not me?". I was once told "If there is something out there which is meant for you, you would get it sooner or later in your life". But as we grow and start our corporate life we learn a new modified version of that statement, i.e. "If you want something go ahead and either fight for it or earn it, but don't just sit there and hope for it to fall in your lap".
