I am looking at the shining star up there in a dark night sky
I am been missing your company since they day walked away
I been walking those roads of life all alone wishing for you to be there
Things do go tough when you are not right here
But i have learned the lessons that no one else would have learned so fast
I have seen the world chaging like a passing wind
I have seen the people walking by seeing me making my way out there
I have been lonely broken since the day you walked your way to heaven
I have been living on a single wish that you might turn up someday
I have been wishing looking at every child playing with their father
I have been missing your words that used to inspire me
I have been missing every moment that we have spent together

A Fatherly Memory

I didn't get that opportunity!

We often face this question when either promotion or during hike cycle. Don't we think, "why them and not me?". I was once told "If there is something out there which is meant for you, you would get it sooner or later in your life". But as we grow and start our corporate life we learn a new modified version of that statement, i.e. "If you want something go ahead and either fight for it or earn it, but don't just sit there and hope for it to fall in your lap". During one of our recent office meeting our manager came and told us, "i know most of you are frustrated and think you are not getting what you want. But if you are jealous because someone else got it by getting their hands dirty don't regret it because you lack the skill to get things you need so stop complaining and better work your way up".
