It's always gonna be you dad

I don't know what i should write about you 
I don't know how to express what's in my mind true
I have called half orphan and critisized too
Maybe Someday i am going to make you proud too
I might not have been best as what you expected me to be
But i am learning day by day what helps me to be me
I am following your footsteps of honesty and being good to everybody
I am trying hard everyday to keep onto promises i made to you
You might have passed away like a cold wind touching away
You might have never noticed what i had for you
You are the first thing on my mind when i see a child crying
I know you have been sacrificing your life just for my dreams come true
I might have never told you this but i always want to be like you
I want to be tour shadow following you
I want to be the kid that you always wished to be
I want you by my side seeing me growing and helping me to live
I miss your absence like it's was just a bad dream for me
I miss you more as i have been lonely since you are gone
I am going to write a million words for you 
But still it's not gonna be enough to explain my love for you
All i wanna i say to you is i always love you
And i am proud always to be your shadow

A Fatherly Memory

I didn't get that opportunity!

We often face this question when either promotion or during hike cycle. Don't we think, "why them and not me?". I was once told "If there is something out there which is meant for you, you would get it sooner or later in your life". But as we grow and start our corporate life we learn a new modified version of that statement, i.e. "If you want something go ahead and either fight for it or earn it, but don't just sit there and hope for it to fall in your lap".
