It's your day and it's just you are not here today
Holding your hands i have learned to walk

But things are too tough for me without you being here with me
I do loose hopes at times, but when i go low i just look at your photo
People often say to shed away the memory of you and move away
Just people won't know what we had between us back those days
For a world you were my father but for me you were a world
I still stumble up on thinking how you knew what i wanted without being told
Copying your styles and habits and getting caught by you
Those silent giggles that used to be best part too
Tears won't come when i just miss you

A Fatherly Memory

I didn't get that opportunity!

We often face this question when either promotion or during hike cycle. Don't we think, "why them and not me?". I was once told "If there is something out there which is meant for you, you would get it sooner or later in your life". But as we grow and start our corporate life we learn a new modified version of that statement, i.e. "If you want something go ahead and either fight for it or earn it, but don't just sit there and hope for it to fall in your lap".
