I Understand

He was a boy and she was a girl
Just like any other story always told
They met on a public gathering
While their eyes crossed each other
And just like that old class style
She blushed while he smiled
Sitting on the ends of the couch
Their story just had been on en-route
They had the moments of love and light
They shared their achievements every now and than
She used to look at him like a dream king
And he had her contact as dream girl to be
Love was in the air like we dream there
But than there was a twist
Sudden she gave him a miss
He wandered searching for her
But she walked out with words unsaid
She walked in once from a blind
And now he was ready to walk out by
Everyone blamed boy did wrong
But non ever knew the story behind
All he said was "I understand"
And walked out in blind passing by.

A Fatherly Memory

I didn't get that opportunity!

We often face this question when either promotion or during hike cycle. Don't we think, "why them and not me?". I was once told "If there is something out there which is meant for you, you would get it sooner or later in your life". But as we grow and start our corporate life we learn a new modified version of that statement, i.e. "If you want something go ahead and either fight for it or earn it, but don't just sit there and hope for it to fall in your lap".
