A prayer for oldie parents

Lines might be sweet lil sour a bit bitter too
But have you seen your preety worried old parents too
A smile on their face can make your day
All you need is put those useless work away
Make some times for those who gave their life for you
Just think one before you regret and miss that rocking chair someday
Ages have passed and lives have changed
Generations have changed and revolutions been swayed
Look with a eye of a parent of yours
Even the place you called once hell will be heaven for you
I have seen the world turn upside down
I have been hanging off town without ant navigator known
Just cut off your ego and lower down your attitide
Oldies are your parents indeed not some rag pits
Be that lil kid whom you used to be 
Be that lil kid who used to put a smileon their  face in days of worry too
Things haven't changed but we did try to show it has been
We are just living in a world of living dead indeed
Show some love and respect to them
As someday you gonna be at that point and might go through same too

A Fatherly Memory

I didn't get that opportunity!

We often face this question when either promotion or during hike cycle. Don't we think, "why them and not me?". I was once told "If there is something out there which is meant for you, you would get it sooner or later in your life". But as we grow and start our corporate life we learn a new modified version of that statement, i.e. "If you want something go ahead and either fight for it or earn it, but don't just sit there and hope for it to fall in your lap". During one of our recent office meeting our manager came and told us, "i know most of you are frustrated and think you are not getting what you want.
