Dark Beauty

Here is am sitting on the highest point of the town
Looking at the city which looks too small to me
I can see the street lights and feel the cold wind by me
Right there down is my home where i live by
The city holds a dream of millions living in it
The city is known for it's big bash celebrities living in it
And here i am writing down a story for somebody
Memory been fading out i can barely remember anything of that night
It's never a fault of anybody when you loose somebody
It's not just a mere destiny neither meant to be
I can see the sea waves hitting the shore at end of the day
I can see people running back to their places rushing away
My lines aint gonna run away they just gonna do their job as always
My lines are just gonna make you fall with a smile on your face
I been watching the beauty of a city in this dark night today
I been just surprised to see the beauty of darkness in front of eye today
It's just gonna be another night repeating the part of my story
It's just gonna be this beauty recreated by darkness in city.

A Fatherly Memory

Eyes are closed and mind ain't at peace It just feels broken and can't ease Looking at those memories i had Looking at our pictures which made us laugh Those moments which made us who we are Those lessons you taught me atlast Your absence does hurt a lot indeed Your presence is what i need at top of it Looking at your picture eyes shed tears now All this thinks i have achieved feels worthless now I never had a hand to pat my back I never had a hand to guide me in dark path Those days are being missed when we sat together Days when we discussed​ until mom yelled over Times when you used to caress my head before i fell asleep Times when you made me learn to be a better man to be Things can't replace your absence for me Life just never gonna be complete without you for me. -Nitish

I didn't get that opportunity!

We often face this question when either promotion or during hike cycle. Don't we think, "why them and not me?". I was once told "If there is something out there which is meant for you, you would get it sooner or later in your life". But as we grow and start our corporate life we learn a new modified version of that statement, i.e. "If you want something go ahead and either fight for it or earn it, but don't just sit there and hope for it to fall in your lap".
