Night Sky

Sitting right below the night sky now
Staring those shining stars and moon to be
Wishing you all to be here sitting next to me
Looking at the sky thinking of somebody close to me
I would like to hold your hand and lay in your lap too
All i want is to see at those stars shining all night to be
Wishing someday to be right there and you seeing me
I am wishing to be a star in that night sky
I would be having my eye on you
Staring right from that dark sky right at you
Looking after you and following you
I just wanna be the one close to your hearts
I just have a small dream to be a part of your life
I am just a common friend of yours
I know i am miles away but i still care for you
Distances never mattered until you were there for me
I am always gonna be your first fan in this life
I am just gonna love you till the end of our lives
I am just gonna be that crazy living this life.

A Fatherly Memory

I didn't get that opportunity!

We often face this question when either promotion or during hike cycle. Don't we think, "why them and not me?". I was once told "If there is something out there which is meant for you, you would get it sooner or later in your life". But as we grow and start our corporate life we learn a new modified version of that statement, i.e. "If you want something go ahead and either fight for it or earn it, but don't just sit there and hope for it to fall in your lap". During one of our recent office meeting our manager came and told us, "i know most of you are frustrated and think you are not getting what you want.
