Should I Quit!
Should I Quit!
It’s not been
long anyone of us would have had this thought in mind ‘Should I Quit!’ In fact
it’s the first thought we have after we start facing problem in our actions or
decisions. I would say I have this thought often but what keeps me away from
quitting is my curiousness for knowing the future or you can say my curiousness
to know ‘what’s next?’
There’s no
human who never thinks of it, but its fact that the one who overcomes this fear
becomes what he dreams to be or achieves what he wishes to have. If we take
example of some of the great legends like Steve Jobs or Bill Gates or any
famous personality whom you would be seeking as your icon, even they pass
through this face as it’s normal that no one can achieve what he/she wants
until one overcomes the fear one possess. Even I have this thought when I start
something new like a new job or a new assignment anything that’s new to me
scares me off as I am not fearless. But still what keeps everyone passing this
face is not just dedication or commitment to themselves but honesty and
patience to get what one wants.
Recently I was
having this conversation with one of my colleagues about that I want to start
writing an article for newspapers or magazines, as anyone who is been from a
family I come from would get this suggestion from any friend or family is
better concentrate on your job as this is not gonna let you achieve anything in life as this is what made me think about dumping this idea of writing what I
have been doing since 2 long years. It’s not I never get noticed or appreciated
for whatever I do but it’s what I believe in myself that I should do what I
believe to do. I guess people are pretty bored reading this but think once you didn't quit reading it yet, that means you want to continue reading and knowing what I want to share with you.
So here is what I
mean to say, no one here is a god who might predict the future and there’s no
one who has been successful without even a single failure in life, in fact your
failures and your problems makes you learn great lessons of life. I could have
quit the idea of continuing my writing and letting people know what I think and
what keeps me away from quitting whatever I begin to do. It’s not that we are
scared to start but it’s our fear to fail to get blamed for stuff’s that we
failed because we didn't listen to anyone. Every one of us would have started
riding a bicycle in childhood we might have fell off it most of times but we didn't quit riding a bicycle, in fact that just gave us an adrenaline rush to
learn it riding faster and better and remember what joy and cheer it gave to
your face when you we successfully riding it.
I doubt most
of people reading this would have thought like this is what you often read in
novels or newspapers or you might have listened this in some inspirational
speeches. But do you know? It never helped you because you never tried it, the
first problem you faced and you just quit, because you were scared of people
making fun of you when you fail.
I just mean to
say when I started writing 2 years ago people laughed at me but now they often
ask me what gonna is be my next post or next topic. So just stop sitting
behind the wall of fear and bounds of society, learn to respect your beliefs
and start the act that you want to do, maybe someday you would be standing at a
point of life where people would be asking you what’s your secret to success,
and the first thing that you need for it is overcome the thought of ‘Should I
Quit! ‘.
