Silence & Darkness

It's been moment since i have been walking silent
It's been a while while i have lost my smile
People do come and ask why things are so silent at times
Just that smile over a face comes too lately at too little price
Journey of life has what's been teaching us about us
Things have been tricky and complicated this time
Sitting alone and thinking of those best days is what i live
Nothing in this world comes for free is what i believe
Everything that you do makes what you are made for too
Every action that one performs initiates their story of life
Just a small step is enough to create a difference now
Just having the faith and trust in oneself keeps us alive
Looking at that bright day sky has been long now
Up above is the dark night sky teaching us best lessons of life
We being humans believe darkness breaks us down
But barely people notice that it's nights under sky that people love to see
Stars shine and moon enlightens the sky only during those dark nights
So silence is what keeps us alive and darkness is what keeps us in drive
