Silent dark night

It's just a beautiful and dark silent night
It's just the sky above with ceilings inside
It's been pretty long since i saw you alive
I tried it often hard to forget you off my head
I did tried a lot to pull your memories off my heart
I know i been making lot of mistakes
I know i been rude with people in your absence
But still i keep my words by keeping silent
But still days are spent lonely and nights silently
I know each day since we went separated
I know every moment since i was left alone
You moved ahead and i stayed where i was
Still i am there waiting for you to turn around
Things did change and people moved away
Time just played its part and i am here again
Sitting with those gadgets and typing in my fake fame
Once i learned from you what life was all about
And now i am here sharing my part of wisdom
Now am here making world believe that i am alive
There might be a day when i would accept that you are gone away
There would be a morning when i would be holding someone again
Just i don't know when that day is gonna come too
All i know i till that day comes i am gonna smile like we did when we last met
All i know is we gonna smile again
All i know is someday we gonna meet again
All i know is you are there up in sky looking at me
And i am down here shedding those tears in memory if yours
Someday might came and someone would believe our story
All i know about us is that i lost my best friend
All i know is i got everything and am gonna make you smile again.

A Fatherly Memory

I didn't get that opportunity!

We often face this question when either promotion or during hike cycle. Don't we think, "why them and not me?". I was once told "If there is something out there which is meant for you, you would get it sooner or later in your life". But as we grow and start our corporate life we learn a new modified version of that statement, i.e. "If you want something go ahead and either fight for it or earn it, but don't just sit there and hope for it to fall in your lap".
