Am all alone

Things feel bad things feel wrong
I am trying to figure out whats going on
It's tearing me apart the way it starts
It's killing me inside while i wait to have your sight
I knew things won't be the way i wish to be
I kept trying till the moment it broke my heart
I kept falling for you knowing it was my fault
You kept on telling me don't ever loose my heart
I stood by you while you needed me there
I looked at sky when it was just dark there
I kept wishing for you knowing it won't happen true
It just broke me apart since this day start
I saw with people and was jealous of them too
They always had your attention which i never had true
I kept on living on a hope things would change someday too
But it just tore me apart since it was meant to
I still look at your face with a hope it might turn someday
I still wait for the smile which might make my day
I have always lost things in past and been dead
I am just living on a hope of being part of you one day
It would just end as a dream that's what i knew
It would end a hard way that's all i knew
It's was just a small wish that i had too
To smile again someday maybe it was not meant to
Every tear passing my eye i dreamed of you
It's just a dark day i am trying to leave through
It's just one another bad day where i lost too.

A Fatherly Memory

I didn't get that opportunity!

We often face this question when either promotion or during hike cycle. Don't we think, "why them and not me?". I was once told "If there is something out there which is meant for you, you would get it sooner or later in your life". But as we grow and start our corporate life we learn a new modified version of that statement, i.e. "If you want something go ahead and either fight for it or earn it, but don't just sit there and hope for it to fall in your lap".
