A friendship story

It's been a while since i have had this thoughts for you
It's been distance even always being in font of you
It all started with the day when i first saw you
In a class full of people around and you being right in front of them true
I had a moment for you when you stood sharing story that was true
I just had a fall with a smile with a thoughts of you
I knew from that moment that there was nothing meant for me too
It was simple as always i won't be able to have you fall for me too
I took my courage and shared it all to you and with a beauty of a smile i just heard you
I remember every word every thought that i used to have too
But as it happens things just changed too
I saw him by you and was happy too
I learned my lesson to let go of you
I always have been so and would keeping learning too
And i won't my humanity down for anything ever too
But still the look of your eye and smile on your face
Amazes me how you became a part of me
I still try hard to lie but have always been failed
I did try to be hard and harsh but that cut me too
And than i learned something that was always meant too
And that's how a love story ends in friendship true.

A Fatherly Memory

I didn't get that opportunity!

We often face this question when either promotion or during hike cycle. Don't we think, "why them and not me?". I was once told "If there is something out there which is meant for you, you would get it sooner or later in your life". But as we grow and start our corporate life we learn a new modified version of that statement, i.e. "If you want something go ahead and either fight for it or earn it, but don't just sit there and hope for it to fall in your lap".
