lessons i learned from life

Lines for some lessons i learned from life
It had few days like sunny and surprised
I looked in myself when i was all alone
I talked to myself as i thought it was best known
I looked in every eye for love and care
I was searching for something that can't be found
Life have been best teacher i have known
It taught me lesson that were unknown
Some had smile while some heard tears too
I have ended in fights with people known too
But things did change when i learned to be friend
I learned to walk the way the path i have known
Sometime's i gave up while sometimes i stayed strong
But life kept me testing till i was broken down
It made me fall in those darkest part to be known
It make me rise with light shining like sunlight
Things i learned were valuable indeed
Some though i was just a walking idiot indeed
You can't judge me or my part of story i lived
You can't just anyone as you didn't know their story
Everything that we do have some response to it
Maybe you would also learn someday what i did
I didn't change myself i just altered some part of it
I learned to grow instead of being unknown to it
Still this word's won't inspire i know
All i did was wrote what part of story i lived

A Fatherly Memory

Eyes are closed and mind ain't at peace It just feels broken and can't ease Looking at those memories i had Looking at our pictures which made us laugh Those moments which made us who we are Those lessons you taught me atlast Your absence does hurt a lot indeed Your presence is what i need at top of it Looking at your picture eyes shed tears now All this thinks i have achieved feels worthless now I never had a hand to pat my back I never had a hand to guide me in dark path Those days are being missed when we sat together Days when we discussed​ until mom yelled over Times when you used to caress my head before i fell asleep Times when you made me learn to be a better man to be Things can't replace your absence for me Life just never gonna be complete without you for me. -Nitish

I didn't get that opportunity!

We often face this question when either promotion or during hike cycle. Don't we think, "why them and not me?". I was once told "If there is something out there which is meant for you, you would get it sooner or later in your life". But as we grow and start our corporate life we learn a new modified version of that statement, i.e. "If you want something go ahead and either fight for it or earn it, but don't just sit there and hope for it to fall in your lap". During one of our recent office meeting our manager came and told us, "i know most of you are frustrated and think you are not getting what you want. But if you are jealous because someone else got it by getting their hands dirty don't regret it because you lack the skill to get things you need so stop complaining and better work your way up".
