A wish

Its just another day with all that flahbacks scaring me through
Its just one another moment making me regret every minute true
I have been down before i have been lost and broken in all
So here i am writing this lines which might help me to find
I always had a smllaer wish, a wish to hold someone indeed
With every person i did let in who torn me apart and left me lonely
I wish to hold her and tell her everything that i have been suffering
I wish to stand out right there just like everyone happy indeed
I wish to lay down in her lap while the world sees me as a stronger man
I wish to tell her every moment i feel so she never walks out
World is just a smaller place you never know who's in rat race
Feelings keep on making us true breaking down and groom us too
Just a look in a eye can make you who what people been through
Just a smile on a face is enough though while you have a storm to face
With every tear and a sleepless night i learn to be cold as dead
With every moment of being alone here it takes me away which i didn't want here.

A Fatherly Memory

I didn't get that opportunity!

We often face this question when either promotion or during hike cycle. Don't we think, "why them and not me?". I was once told "If there is something out there which is meant for you, you would get it sooner or later in your life". But as we grow and start our corporate life we learn a new modified version of that statement, i.e. "If you want something go ahead and either fight for it or earn it, but don't just sit there and hope for it to fall in your lap".
